Rubicon Farms offers the highest standard of training, horse care, & coaching in a family environment. We are a boutique barn of riders, owners, and trainers who enjoy the process of developing horses. We attend appropriate competitions as a way to celebrate accomplishments and continue to challenge ourselves.
At the heart of Rubicon Farms is founder, LesAnn LeClaire. An accomplished equestrian professional with 40 years of experience, LesAnn's lifelong commitment to equine care underpins every aspect of her operation.
We have recently relocated to the Sonoma Horse Park. This beautiful space is both a training facility and horse show venue, hosting both schooling and “A” rated shows.

LesAnn’s journey is a testament to the power of passion and dedication. Beginning at just six years old, LesAnn rose from pony club, to top Junior rider, to professional at age 20.
LesAnn established Rubicon Farms in 2000. Over two decades later, she runs Rubicon Farms with her daughter Lydia Rose. LesAnn's meticulous attention to horse care and training has shaped Rubicon Farms into a nurturing environment for both horse and rider.

Rubicon Farms specializes in the development of successful partnerships. We acquire reasonably priced horses from reliable sources worldwide. We are committed to patiently and purposefully developing horses for the long run. We have a proven history of transitioning novice riders to advanced competitors and green horses into champions.
Rubicon Farms provides meticulous horse care 7 days a week. Our staff has been with us for 20 years and travels with us to competitions to ensure consistent care. We contract and manage a special group of equine professionals to complete our team.
